Overview
Eco Equity is a platform concept designed to bridge the gap between sustainability-focused startups and investors who share their mission. As my senior thesis project, I took this idea from initial brainstorming to a refined, interactive prototype, incorporating user feedback along the way.

Challenge
Sustainability-driven startups often struggle to find investors aligned with their values. The goal was to design a platform that simplifies this connection while providing startups with the visibility and resources they need to grow.
Approach
Ideation and Research
- Conducted market research to identify gaps in funding for sustainability-focused startups.
- Defined user personas for both founders and investors to ensure the platform met their needs.
- Developed a business and UX strategy that balanced usability with real-world functionality.
Pitch Development

Wireframing & Prototyping
- Created low-fidelity wireframes to explore different user flows and layouts.
- Designed high-fidelity prototypes with a clean, intuitive UI that made startup discovery and investor outreach seamless.
- Iterated on designs based on class user testing and feedback.
Workflow

Final Designs & Key Features
- Startup Profiles & Investor Filters: Startups can showcase their mission and funding needs, while investors can filter opportunities based on industry focus, investment stage, and sustainability interests.
- Discover Hub: A centralized space to explore startups, investors, sustainability events, and industry resources.
- Clear & Intuitive Navigation: Seamless user experience with structured categories and an informative About page.
Final Outcome
The final prototype presents a functional platform that fosters meaningful connections between sustainability-focused startups and mission-driven investors. Through this project, I honed my ability to develop a concept from idea to execution, balancing design thinking with business strategy.
